On 7/11/18 the Council made the DUNDEE CITY COUNCIL (HILL STREET, DUNDEE) (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) ORDER 2018 under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. The Order will prohibit temporarily all vehicular traffic in Hill St from its junction with Strathmartine Rd/Hilltown to its junction with Bruce St. The Order is operative for 12 weeks from 12/11/18 for service connections for a new housing development, with a maximum duration of 18 months. Works will be carried out in 2 separate phases. Only one phase will be in operation at any time. Access for residents will be maintained where possible. Alternative route: Strathmartine Rd, Harcourt St, Bruce St and reverse.
