On 13/6/17 the Council made the DUNDEE CITY COUNCIL (CHARLESTON DRIVE, DUNDEE) (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) ORDER 2017 under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. The Order will prohibit temporarily all vehicular traffic in Charleston Dr at its junction with Elmwood Rd (Phase 1) and between its junction with Ancrum Rd and its junction with Elmwood Rd (Phase 2). The Order is operative for 10 days from 19/6/17 for carriageway resurfacing works, with a maximum duration of 18 months. The works will be carried out in two separate phases. Alternative routes: Glamis Rd, Dickson Ave, Charleston Dr and reverse (Phase 1) and Glamis Rd, Elmwood Rd and reverse (Phase 2).
