(U72N SHAKESPEARE STREET TO BROOMS ROAD CARPARK – PARKING SUSPENSION)
(TEMPORARY TRAFFIC MANAGEMENT ORDER)
ORDER 2024
Dumfries and Galloway Council has made an Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, to temporarily suspend parking on the U72n, Shakespeare Street, north side from Gifhorn House to carpark, from 7am on 15/04/24 to 5pm on 10/06/24, and only when indicated by display of signs appropriate under the Traffic Signs Regulations and General Directions 2016.
The temporary suspension of parking is necessary to facilitate access/egress for large vehicles to demolition site.
In addition, at this time, the southside footpath will be closed in the interest of pedestrian safety during demolition works.
