DUMFRIES AND GALLOWAY COUNCIL

(C125N CAIRNHALL – PENPONT - CADGERHALL)

(TEMPORARY TRAFFIC REGULATION ORDER)

ORDER 2024

Dumfries and Galloway Council has made an Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 to temporarily close the C125n from just North of Breconside Farm, Thornhill to East of Eliock Lodge, Sanquhar from 7am on 01/04/24 – 1700 on 12/04/24.

Works will be under a rolling closure and carried out in 4 sections.

Part 1: Breconside Farm to Crairieknowe Cottages.

Part 2: Crairieknowe Cottages to Glenairlie Bridge.

Part 3: Glenairlie Bridge to Mennock Bridge.

Part 4: Mennock Bridge to Eliock Lodge, Sanquhar.

The closure is necessary to facilitate Scottish Water trial hole works.

Alternative route available via C125n, C128n, A76(T), U427n, U428n, C125n and vice versa and signed accordingly as per each section.

Emergency access will not be available.

Pedestrian access will be maintained.
