(U711N EASTFIELD ROAD/U794N KELLWOOD ROAD, DUMFRIES)
(TEMPORARY TRAFFIC REGULATION ORDER)
ORDER 2024
Dumfries and Galloway Council has made an Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 to temporarily close the U711n Eastfield Road and U794n Kellwood Road, Dumfries between A756 Brooms Road and U793n Kellwood Avenue from 9am on 02/04/24 – 6pm on 24/05/24.
The closure is necessary to facilitate installation of new HV supply.
Alternative route available - Local diversions as signposted on site during works. Works to be carried out in phases.
i) Eastfield Rd between Brooms Rd and Rosevale St
ii) Eastfield Rd/Kellwood Rd between Rosevale St and Barnton Rd
iii) Kellwood Rd between Barnton Rd and Kellwood Ave.
Major diversion during works A756 Brooms Rd, A780 Annan Rd, C208n Georgetown Rd, C206n Gillbrae Rd, U639n Barnton Rd and vice versa. Residential access will be available via north or south all times during works.
Emergency access will be available.
Pedestrian access will be maintained.
