(TEMPORARY TRAFFIC REGULATION ORDER)
ORDER 2024
Dumfries and Galloway Council has made an Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 to temporarily close A718 Church Street, Stranraer, between The Church and its junction with George Street from 00:00 on 29th January 2024 to 08:00 on 31st March 2025.
The closure is necessary to safely facilitate a works area in association with redevelopment works at the Old George Hotel building.
Alternative route available via Sun Street, High Street, George Street.
Access to businesses/ properties will be available.
Pedestrian access will be maintained.
In addition to this, parking will be suspended on C14w George Street from The Golden Cross to No. 36 (both sides).
