(TEMPORARY TRAFFIC REGULATION ORDER)
NO.2 ORDER 2023
Dumfries and Galloway Council has made an Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 to temporarily close U197a Cove at Kirtle Water footbridge including both abutment steps from 00:00 on 30/12/2023 to 23:59 on 29/06/2024.
The closure is necessary to prevent harm to the public / because of the hazardous condition of the footbridge, this is an extension to the previous order.
Alternative route available via C45a, B6357, B7076 and vice versa.
No access to any user (vehicle or pedestrian), access to other lengths of the road and frontage properties are unaffected.
