(CALEDONIAN CYCLEWAY)
(TEMPORARY TRAFFIC REGULATION ORDER)
ORDER 2021
Dumfries and Galloway Council has made an Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 to temporarily close the Caledonian Cycleway, Dumfries between Moffat Road and Bloomfield from 09:00 on 22/02/21 to 18:00 on 26/03/21.
The closure is necessary to facilitate installation of a new Scottish Water mains. This is the first stage of the planned Moffat Road to Tinwald Downs Road new mains installation.
These works are to be carried out in 3 phases. Alternative routes for cyclists and pedestrians available via Summerpark, Marchfields, Edinburgh Road (underpass) as signposted on site. See map and Schedule A below.
