THE DUMFRIES AND GALLOWAY COUNCIL

(VARIOUS ROADS, GRETNA, GRETNA GREEN AND SPRINGFIELD)

(VARIOUS SPEED LIMITS) ORDER 2018

 

Notice is hereby given that Dumfries and Galloway Council propose to make the above named Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.

 

1. The general effect of the Order will be to make it unlawful to drive a motor vehicle at a speed exceeding 30 miles per hour along the lengths of road detailed in the Order, exceptions as per detailed in the Order.

    

2. Details of the proposals with the plans (TM/A/01/200B) showing the restricted lengths of road and a Statement of Reasons for the proposed Order may be inspected during normal office hours (9am – 5pm) between 15^th June 2018 and 6^th July 2018 at:

• Kirkbank House, English Street, Dumfries DG1 2HS,
• Gretna Customer Services, Central Avenue, Gretna DG16 5AQ.

 

1. Any person who wishes to object to the proposed Order should send details, in writing and stating the grounds, to the undersigned by 6^th July 2018.
