DUMFRIES AND GALLOWAY COUNCIL
(U723n FRIARS VENNEL, DUMFRIES)
(TEMPORARY CLOSURE) No.3 ORDER 2017
Dumfries and Galloway Council has made an Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 to temporarily close Friars Vennel between Irish Street and Brewery Street from 07:00 to 17:00 on four Sundays as follows:
- Sunday 29th October 2017
- Sunday 3rd December 2017
- Sunday 21st January 2018
The closure is necessary to facilitate a crane on the carriageway associated with the construction works.
Alternative route: via Irish Street, Bank Street and Whitesands.
Pedestrian access will for safety reasons be restricted.
