(REDETERMINATION OF MEANS OF
EXERCISE OF PUBLIC RIGHT OF PASSAGE)
ORDER 2017
Notice is hereby given that The Dumfries and Galloway Council proposes to make the above named Order under sections 1(1) and 152(2) of the Roads (Scotland) Act 1984.
1) The general effect of the Order will be to redetermine the means of exercise of the public right of passage over the footways described in the Schedule to this Order.
2) A copy of the proposed Order and of the accompanying Map (drawing number PE262467/TRO/01) showing the footways over which the means of exercise of the public right of passage is to be redetermined, together with a statement of the reasons for making the Order, may be inspected free of charge between 15th September 2017 and 13th October 2017 at the following locations:
- Kirkbank House, English Street, Dumfries DG1 2HS, during office hours (09.00 – 17.00hrs) and at
- Lochside Library, Lochside Road, Dumfries, DG2 0LW (Tues 12.00 – 19.00hrs, Wed 10.00 – 17.00hrs and Sat 10.30 – 12.30hrs)
3) Any person who wishes to object to the proposed Order should send details, in writing and stating the grounds, to the undersigned by 13th October 2017.
