Dumfries and Galloway Council has made an Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 to temporarily close South Main Street between Wigtown Ploughman and Town Hall.
The timing of the closure is 11:00 hours to 21:00 hours Saturday 2nd July 2016.
The closure is necessary to facilitate the activities associated with Wigtown Riding of the Marches.
The alternative route is via North main Street.
Emergency vehicle access will be available if required.
Pedestrian access will be maintained at all times.
