Dumfries and Galloway Council has made an Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 to temporarily close B6318 Pentonbridge – Skippersbridge northwards from the access track to Hindshole Cottage near Tarras Bridge.
The closure is a time extension to the closure implemented in January 2916. It is estimated that it will be closed until 31st December 2016. Should remedial works be completed before this the closure will be lifted.
The closure is necessary to facilitate the repairs to the carriageway following a landslip resulting from recent storm damage.
Alternative route: via A7(T), B6357, B6318 and vice versa.
Pedestrian access will be maintained.
