THE DUMFRIES AND GALLOWAY COUNCIL
(VARIOUS ROADS, DUNSCORE)
(VARIOUS SPEED LIMITS) ORDER 2014
 
Notice is hereby given that The Dumfries and Galloway Council proposes to make the above named Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
 
  1. The general effect of the Order will be to make it unlawful to drive a motor vehicle at a speed exceeding 30 miles per hour along the lengths of road detailed in Schedule One below and to make it unlawful to drive a motor vehicle at a speed exceeding 20 miles per hour along those lengths of road detailed in Schedule Two below. The existing Orders in Schedule Three shall be revoked where they apply to these roads.
  2. Full details of the proposals with Maps (TM/N/01/102 & TM/N/01/103), a Statement of Reasons for the proposed Order and a copy of the Orders to be revoked may be inspected, free of charge, at DGFirst, Wayside Depot, Annan Road, Dumfries and Planning and Environment, Kirkbank House, English Street, Dumfries during normal office hours (09.00 hours to 17.00 hours) between 28 February 2014 and 24 March 2014.
  3. Any person who wishes to object to the proposed Order should send details, in writing and stating the grounds, to the undersigned by 24 March 2014.
