DUMFRIES AND GALLOWAY COUNCIL(FORMER WALLACE HALL ACADEMY SITE, STATION ROAD, THORNHILL)(SPEED LIMIT) ORDER 2014 Notice is hereby given that The Dumfries and Galloway Council proposes to make the above named Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
- The general effect of the Order will be to make it unlawful to drive a motor vehicle at a speed exceeding 20 miles per hour along those lengths of road built or to be built within the areas at Thornhill delineated by a thick black broken line on the respective Map (NT/2014/10/01).
- Details of the proposals with a Map (NT/2014/10/01) and a Statement of Reasons for the proposed Order may be inspected, free of charge, at DGFirst, Wayside Depot, Annan Road, Dumfries and P&E, Kirkbank House, English St, Dumfries, during normal office hours (09.00 hours to 17.00 hours) between 28 February 2014 and 24 March 2014.
- Any person who wishes to object to the proposed Order should send details, in writing and stating the grounds, to the undersigned by 24 March 2014.
