DUMFRIES & GALLOWAY COUNCIL
EXEMPTION UNDER SECTION 11(9) OF THE LAND REFORM (SCOTLAND) ACT 2003
Notice is hereby given under section 11(9) of the Land Reform (Scotland) Act 2003 that on 4 th March 2024 Dumfries and Galloway Council made An Exemption Order under section 11(1) of the Act. The effect of the Order is to exempt the following Forestry and Land Scotland land contained by the red boundary on the map below from the access rights which would otherwise be exercisable in respect of that land by virtue of Part 1 of the Act. The purpose(s) for which the Order is made is for a Galloway Hillbillies Duathlon Event The Order will take effect from 17.00hrs on Friday 10th May 2024 and will expire at 16.00hrs on Sunday 12th May 2024 unless revoked earlier.
