PUBLIC NOTICE
EXEMPTION ORDER UNDER SECTION 11 (9) OF THE LAND REFORM (SCOTLAND) ACT 2003
Notice is hereby given under section 11(9) of the Land Reform (Scotland) Act 2003 that on the 20th of February 2024 Dumfries and Galloway Council made an Exemption Order under section 11(1) of the Act.
The effect of the Order is to exempt the following land at Forrest Estate, Dalry, DG7 3XS contained by the red boundary on the map below from the access rights which would otherwise be exercisable in respect of that land by virtue of Part 1 of the Act.
The purpose for which the Order is made is for an off-road motorsport event on a marked route hosted by the Northern Off-Road Club. The Order will take effect from 0800hrs 25th April 2024 and will expire at 1500hrs 30th April 2024 unless revoked earlier.
