DUMFRIES AND GALLOWAY COUNCIL (AE FOREST, DG1 1QB) ORDER 2024
Notice is hereby given under section 11(9) of the Land Reform (Scotland) Act 2003 that on the 30th of January 2024 Dumfries and Galloway Council made An Exemption Order under section 11(1) of the Act. The effect of the Order is to exempt the following land adjacent to Ae Village, Dumfries, DG1 1QB contained by the red boundary on the map below from the access rights which would otherwise be exercisable in respect of that land by virtue of Part 1 of the Act. The purpose(s) for which the Order is made is for a downhill mountain bike event on a marked route hosted by the Scottish Downhill Association.
The Order will take effect from 1700hrs 26 th April 2024 and will expire at 1900hrs 28 th April 2024 unless revoked earlier.
