Telford Road
Representations have been received from Local Councillors, Police Scotland and residents to introduce waiting restrictions on Telford Road, from the existing restrictions at Crewe Toll to a point 87m west of its junction with Groathill Avenue.
Vehicles are parking on footways, blocking them completely forcing pedestrians to walk on a live carriageway. The inconsiderate parking is also a potential hazard obscuring sightline for pedestrian navigating the street.
The introduction of 24 hour waiting restrictions as shown on the plan would result in enhancing road safety and assist vehicle and pedestrian movement
