Remove existing stone steps and replace with stone-clad dwarf wall behind which a new ramp and steps would sit. Handrails would be oval stainless steel and ballustrading would be laminated glass attached to stainless steel effect aluminium. The new wall will be symmetrical on the entrance door of the building. The wall is necessary to avoid building users walking directly onto the road which is regularly used by vehicles.
