On Thursday 28th September 2023, Argyll and Bute Council made the above named Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, which will make it unlawful for a temporary period for any person to drive or cause or permit to be driven any vehicle on that section of Crinan Hotel Loop Road from the access to Crinan Canal Basin Car Park in a northerly direction to a point adjacent to Crinan Hotel a distance of 110 metres or thereby. Exceptions apply to any vehicle being used for carrying out the works.
This Order which is required because works are being or are proposed to be executed on or near the road will be effective when indicated by signs from between 0800 hours and 1700 hours from the 23rd of October 2023 to 26th of April 2024 or until the remedial works are complete, whichever is the earlier.
Alternative routes will be via adjacent streets and will be signed in an appropriate manner.
