Argyll and Bute Council gives notice that on Monday the 15th day of March 2021 they made the above named Order under Section 14(1)(a) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended.

The effect of the Order will make it unlawful for any person to drive or cause or permit to be driven any vehicle on that length of the B8071 Arinagour-Ballyhough Road as carried by Cliad Bridge, Island of Coll, a distance of 15 metres or thereby. The restriction which is required because works are being or are proposed to be executed on or near the length of road will be effective when indicated by signs from 31st of March 2021 until 2359 hours on the14th of February 2022 or until the works are complete, whichever is the earliest.

Vehicles will be diverted off the B8071 away from Cliad Bridge and across Claid Burn via a temporary structure. This will allow full structural replacement of Cliad Bridge.
