On Monday 25th May 2020, Argyll and Bute Council made the above named Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, which will make it unlawful for a temporary period for any person to drive or cause or permit to be driven any vehicle on that section of Castle Street, Port Bannatyne, Rothesay (Unclassified No.11), from a point 30 metres or thereby northeast of the extended east kerbline of Quay Street extending in a northeasterly direction for a distance of 15 metres or thereby. Exceptions apply to any vehicle being used for carrying out works to the dangerous building.

This Order which is required because of the likelihood of danger to the public due to a dangerous building adjacent to the road will be effective when indicated by signs from 0001 hours on the 30th of May 2020 to 2359 hours on the 30th of November 2021 or until the remedial works are complete, whichever is the earlier.

Alternative routes will be via adjacent streets and will be signed in an appropriate manner.
