On Monday 22nd July 2019, Argyll and Bute Council made the above named Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, which will make it unlawful for any person to drive or cause or permit to be driven any vehicle at a speed exceeding 30mph on the length of road specified in the Schedule to the Order.
The restriction which is required on the grounds of road safety whilst works are being carried out on or near the road will be in operation from 0001 hours on the 5th August 2019 until 2359 hours on 5th August 2020 or until the works are complete, whichever is the earliest.
SCHEDULE – TEMPORARY 30MPH SPEED RESTRICTION
That length of the A814 Dumbarton to Arrochar Road at Glenmallan, from a point 150 metres or thereby north of the jetty, extending in a southerly direction for a distance of 400 metres or thereby.
