Aberdeen City Council has made the above-named order in terms of its powers under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
The effect of the order, which will operate from 07:30 on 13 May, 2024 until 18:00 on 20 December, 2024, is to impose a temporary prohibition of waiting for any purpose on either side of Riverside Drive, Aberdeen, between its junctions with Stonehaven Road and a point 60 metres or there by north of this junction. The no-waiting restrictions will be demarcated by the use of no-waiting cones. Illegally parked vehicles will be removed at the owners expense. The measure is necessary to protect public safety during refurbishment works on the Bridge of Dee for Aberdeen City Council.
