Aberdeen City Council has made the above-named order in terms of its powers under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984

Aberdeen City Council has made the above-named order in terms of its powers under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.

The effect of the order, which will operate from 08:00 until 17:00 on 18th June, 2024, is to impose a temporary prohibition of driving on Stewart Crescent, Aberdeen, from the boundary between numbers 55 & 57 Stewart Crescent to the boundary between numbers 75 & 77 Stewart Crescent. An alternative route is available via Whin Park Place, Provost Fraser Drive service road and Whin Park Road
There will also be a prohibition of waiting on either side on the same stretch of road.
Illegally parked vehicles will be removed at the owners expense. Access to properties will be maintained, but no through traffic will be possible.
The no-waiting restrictions be demarcated by the use of no-waiting cones
The measures are necessary to protect public safety during pole lifting operations being carried out by BT Openreach.
