Aberdeen City Council has made the above-named order in terms of its powers under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984
The effect of the order is to impose temporary lane closure on the northbound carriageway on Ellon road Aberdeen, from Murcar Roundabout to Mundurno yard entrance. There will also be a temporary prohibition of overtaking on the same stretch of carriageway for the duration of the works. There will also be a temporary speed restriction of 10MPH for the durations of the works. During the hours of 19:00 to 23:00 daily there will also be a convoy system in place including traffic lights. The restrictions are in the interests of public safety during ACC road maintenance works.
