Aberdeen City Council has made the above-named order in terms of its powers under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
The effect of the order, which will operate from 04:00 on 29 April 2024, until 23:59 on 27 April 2025, is to impose a temporary prohibition of driving on Union Street, Aberdeen, between its junctions with Market Street and Bridge Street. Access will be maintained eastbound only, for delivery vehicles, taxis, emergency and authorised vehicles only. The measure is necessary to protect public safety during Aberdeen City Council streetscape project by Morrison Construction.
