Aberdeen City Council has made the above-named order in terms of its powers under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984
Aberdeen City Council has made the above-named order in terms of its powers under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
One of the effects of this order, is to close Links Road, Aberdeen, between the access road to Lynx arena ice rink car park and its junction with Urquhart Road from 07:00 on the 15th of April, 2024 until 18:00 on 27th May, 2024. An alternative route is available via Esplanade, Beach Boulevard and Links Road. There will also be a prohibition of waiting for any purpose on either side of the same stretch of road.
From 18:00 on 27th May, 2024. Until 18:00 on 3rd July, 2024, Urquhart Road, Aberdeen, will be closed between its junctions with Links Road and Bothwell Road.
The no-waiting restrictions will be demarcated by the use of no-waiting cones. Illegally parked vehicles will be removed at the owners expense.
The restrictions are in the interests of public safety during installation works by SGN, for Aberdeen City Council.
