Aberdeen City Council has made the above-named order in terms of its powers under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
The effect of the order, which will operate from 07:00 until 12:00 on 20 April, 2024, is to close Victoria Street, Aberdeen, between its junctions with Alford Place and Waverley Place. An alternative route is available via Alford Place, Rubislaw Place and Waverley Place. There will also be a prohibition of waiting at any time on either side of the same stretch of road The no-waiting restrictions will be demarcated by the use of no-waiting cones. Illegally parked vehicles will be removed at the owners expense.
The measures are necessary to protect public safety for the bus diversion route during lining works on Union Street by Aberdeen City Council.
