Aberdeen City Council has made the above-named order in terms of its powers under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
The effect of the order, which will operate from 07:00 on 13th May, 2024, until 16:30 on 18th May, 2024, is to impose a temporary one-way restriction on Whitestripes Avenue, Aberdeen, between its junctions with The Parkway and Valentine Road. The permitted direction of travel will be southbound only. An alternative route for northbound vehicles is available via The Parkway, Scotstown Road and Jesmond Drive.
There will also be a prohibition of waiting on either side on the same stretch of road.
Illegally parked vehicles will be removed at the owners expense.
The no-waiting restrictions will be demarcated by the use of no-waiting cones.
The measures are necessary to protect public safety during footway construction works being carried out by WM Donald.
