Aberdeen City Council has made the above-named order in terms of its powers under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984
The effect of this order is to impose a temporary prohibition of driving on Don Street (Old Aberdeen), Aberdeen, from the junction with Don Street to junction with Seaton Stables. There will also be a prohibition of waiting on either side of the carriageway from 50 metres north of Lord Hay's Grove junction to 50 Metres South of Lord Hay's Road junction for any reason for the duration of the works. The no-waiting restrictions will be demarcated by the use of no-waiting cones. Illegally parked vehicles will be removed at the owners expense. Access for residents will be maintained when safe to do so. The measure is necessary to protect public safety during ACC Road Maintenance Works
