Aberdeen City Council has made the above-named order in terms of its powers under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
The effect of the order, which will operate from 07:30 on 29th April, 2024, until 16:30 on 4th May, 2024, is to impose a temporary prohibition of driving on Whitestripes Road, Aberdeen, from its north western junction with Ferrochie Road to a point 30 metres north of the national speed limit sign. An alternative route is available via Whitestripes Avenue, A92 Parkway and Upper Persley Road.
There will also be a prohibition of waiting on either side of the same stretch of road.
Illegally parked vehicles will be removed at the owners expense. Access to properties will be maintained, but no through traffic will be possible.
The no-waiting restrictions be demarcated by the use of no-waiting cones
The measures are necessary to protect public safety during street lighting installation being carried out by WM Donald.
