Aberdeen City Council has made the above-named order in terms of its powers under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984

Aberdeen City Council has made the above-named order in terms of its powers under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.

The effect of the order, which will operate from 09:30 on 15th April, 2024, until 21:30 on 24th April, 2024, is to impose a temporary prohibition of driving on St Johns Terrace, service road, Aberdeen, from the boundary between number 21 and 22 St Johns Terrace to the boundary between number 26 and 27 St Johns Terrace. An alternative route is available via St Johns Terrace and Gordon Terrace.
There will also be a prohibition of waiting on either side on the same stretch of road.
Illegally parked vehicles will be removed at the owners expense. Access to properties will be maintained, but no through traffic will be possible.
The no-waiting restrictions will be demarcated by the use of no-waiting cones
The measures are necessary to protect public safety during works being carried out by Scottish Water
