Aberdeen City Council has made the above-named order in terms of its powers under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
The effect of the order, which will operate from 08:00 on 8th April, 2024, until 17:00 on 10th April, 2024, is to impose a temporary prohibition of driving Newton of Shielhill Road, Aberdeen, from its junction with Tarves Road to the eastern boundary of Crannies Neuk. An alternative route is available via Leuchlands Road and Shielhill Road.
Access to properties will be maintained, but no through traffic will be possible.
The measure is necessary to protect public safety during duct laying works being carried out by BT Openreach.
