Aberdeen City Council has made the above-named order in terms of its powers under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984
The effect of the order is to impose a temporary prohibition of driving on Springfield Road, Aberdeen, from and including the junction with Craigton Road to the junction with North Deeside Road. There will also be a prohibition of waiting on either side of the same stretch of carriageway for the duration of the works. There will also be a prohibition of driving and a prohibition of waiting on Craigton Road, Aberdeen from 86 Craigton Road to entrance to 16-25 Craigton Park. Illegally parked vehicles will be removed at the owners expense The no-waiting restrictions will be demarcated by the use of no-waiting cones. There will also be 3 way lights on Springfield Road at St Johns Terrace/ North Deeside Road junction for duration of the works. The restrictions are in the interests of public safety during ACC road maintenance works
