Aberdeen City Council has made the above-named order in terms of its powers under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
The effect of the order, which will operate from 08:30 on 6th June, 2024, until 15:30 on 7th June, 2024, is to impose a temporary prohibition of driving on Queens Lane South, Aberdeen, from its eastern junction with Forest Avenue to the entrance for Maryfield West care home. An alternative route is available via Forest Avenue & Harlaw Road.
There will also be a prohibition of waiting on the north side of Queens Lane South, Aberdeen, from its eastern junction with Forest Avenue to the entrance for Maryfield West care home.
Access to properties will be maintained, but no through traffic will be possible. The measure is necessary to protect public safety during pole replacement work being carried out by BT Openreach.
