Aberdeen City Council has made the above-named order in terms of its powers under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984
Aberdeen City Council has made the above-named order in terms of its powers under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. The effect of the order is to impose the following restrictions: From 18:30 in the evening until 07:00 the following morning on evenings beginning 20, 21, and 22 March 2024, Springbank Terrace, Aberdeen, will be closed from its junction with Bon-Accord Street to the boundary between numbers 18 and 19 Springbank Terrace. An alternative route is available via Bon-Accord Street, Union Street, Holburn Street, and Willowbank Road. There will also be a prohibition of waiting on the west side of Bon-Accord Street, Aberdeen, from its junction with Springbank Terrace to lighting column 17 approximately 30m south of the junction, and on the south side of Springbank Terrace, Aberdeen, from its junction with Bon-Accord Street to the boundary between numbers 46 and 47 Springbank Terrace. From 08:00 on 26 March 2024 until 18:00 on 28 March 2024, there will be a no-waiting restriction on either side of Constitution Street, Aberdeen, from the boundary between Beach Court Nursing Home and number 88 Constitution Street, to Hanover Community Centre. From 18:30 in the evening until 07:00 the following morning on evenings beginning 26, 27, and 28 March 2024, Esslemont Avenue, Aberdeen, will be closed from its junction with Skene Street to the boundary between numbers 6 and 8 Esslemont Avenue. There will also be a prohibition of waiting on either side of the same stretch of road. An alternative route is available via Skene Street, Rosemount Viaduct and Leadside Road. Illegally parked vehicles will be removed at the owners expense. The measures are necessary to protect public safety during sewer CCTV surveys for Scottish Water.
