Aberdeen City Council has made the above-named order in terms of its powers under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
The effect of the order, which will operate from 09:00 on 29th April, 2024, until 07:00 on 1st May, 2024, is to impose a temporary prohibition of driving on Seafield Drive West, Aberdeen, from its junction with Seafield Road to the rear of number 120 Seafield Road. An alternative route is available via Seafield Drive East and Seafield Road and also on Seafield Gardens, Aberdeen, from its junction with Seafield Road to the rear of number 49 Seafield Road. An alternative route is available via Seafield Road, Wellbrae Terrace and Countesswells Road.
There will also be a prohibition of waiting on the same stretch of roads

Illegally parked vehicles will be removed at the owners expense. Access to properties will be maintained, but no through traffic will be possible.
The no-waiting restrictions will be demarcated by the use of no-waiting cones
The measures are necessary to protect public safety during remedial works being carried out by City Fibre.
