Aberdeen City Council has made the above-named order in terms of its powers under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984

Aberdeen City Council has made the above-named order in terms of its powers under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.

The effect of the order, which will operate from 09:30 until 15:30 on 6th May, 2024 is to impose a temporary prohibition of driving on Park Road, Cults, Aberdeen, from its junction with West Cults Road to the boundary between number 23 and 25 Park Road, Cults. An alternative route is available via West Cults Road, North Deeside Road, St Devenicks Place and Deeview Road South and Park Brae.
There will also be a prohibition of waiting on either side on the same stretch of road.
Illegally parked vehicles will be removed at the owners expense. Access to properties will be maintained, but no through traffic will be possible.
The no-waiting restrictions will be demarcated by the use of no-waiting cones
The measures are necessary to protect public safety during pole removal works being carried out by BT Openreach.
