Aberdeen City Council has made the above-named order in terms of its powers under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
One of the effects of this Order, is to close the roads on Schedule 1 (below) from 00:01 until 21:00 on 24 June 2023. Alternative routes are available. Also, from 20:00 on 22 June 2023, until 19:00 on 24 June 2023, there will also be a prohibition of waiting at any time on either side of the roads on Schedule 2 (below) with the exception of vehicles associated with the event. The no-waiting restrictions will be demarcated by the use of no-waiting cones. Illegally parked vehicles will be removed at the owners expense.
From 08:00 until 19:00 on 24 June 2023, roads as listed on Schedule 3, (below) will be restricted to vehicles associated with the event, scheduled bus services and local residents only. Also, Riverside Drive will be closed at the Queen Elizabeth bridge junction except for local access. There will be Blue Badge parking allowed on either side of Allenvale Road, Aberdeen, between its southern most junction with Great Southern Road and Allenvale Gardens. There will be a no waiting restriction on Union Terrace, Aberdeen, between its junctions with Rosemount Viaduct and Diamond Place. This includes Blue Badge holders, but not shuttle buses associated with the pipe band event. The restrictions are in the interests of public safety during a public event for a pipe band competition.

(Right turn from Murray Terrace maintained Northbound).
Great Southern Road, Southbound from Holburn Roundabout to Riverside Drive (Whinhill Roundabout will be right turn only from Whinhill Road)
Allenvale Road from Allenvale Gardens to Great Southern Road
Riverside Drive from Polmuir Road to Great Southern Road
Riverside Drive - from Riverside Place to Great Southern Road - (westbound access only)
Riverside Terrace from Holburn Street to Riverside Drive - (access only)
Riverside Place from Holburn Street to Riverside Drive - (access only)
