Aberdeen City Council has made the above-named order in terms of its powers under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984

Aberdeen City Council has made the above-named order in terms of its powers under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.

The effect of the order, which will operate from 09:00 on 10th April, 2023, until 07:00 on 11th April, 2023, is to impose a temporary prohibition of driving on Invercauld Road, Aberdeen, between its junctions with Cairnwell Avenue and Invercauld Place. An alternative route is available via Cairnwell Avenue, Cairnwell Place and Craigendarroch Place
There will also be a prohibition of waiting on either side on the same stretch of road
Illegally parked vehicles will be removed at the owners expense. Access to properties will be maintained, but no through traffic will be possible.
The no-waiting restrictions will be demarcated by the use of no-waiting cones
The measures are necessary to protect public safety during duct laying works being carried out by City Fibre.
