Aberdeen City Council has made the above-named order in terms of its powers under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984

Aberdeen City Council has made the above-named order in terms of its powers under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.

The effect of the order is to impose a temporary prohibition of driving on the following streets;
Corrennie Circle, Aberdeen, from the boundary between number 35 and 37 Corrennie Circle to the boundary between number 41 and 43 Corrennie Circle from 09:00 on 10th October, 2022, until 17:00 on 11th October, 2022. An alternative route is available via Balloch Way; Corrennie Circle, Aberdeen, from the boundary between number 85 and 87 Corrennie Circle to the boundary between number 95 and 97 Corrennie Circle from 09:00 on 12th October, 2022, until 17:00 on 13th October, 2022. An alternative route is available via Balloch Way; Corrennie Circle, Aberdeen, from its northern junction with Balloch Way to the boundary between number 103 and 105 Corrennie Circle from 09:00 on 14th October, 2022, until 07:00 on 16th October, 2022. An alternative route is available via Balloch Way; Louden Place, Aberdeen from its junction with Balloch Way to the entrance for the garages between number 4 and 6 Louden Place from 09:00 on 17th October, 2022, until 17:00 on 18th October, 2022. An alternative route is available via Balloch Way and Adlair Terrace; Corrennie Circle, Aberdeen, from the entrance to Parkhill Court and to the boundary between number 9 and 11 Corrennie Circle from 09:00 on 19th October, 2022, until 17:00 on 20th October, 2022. An alternative route is available via Balloch Way; Ardlair Terrace, Aberdeen, from its junction with Louden Place to the boundary between number 7 and 9 Ardlair Terrace from 09:00 on 24th October, 2022, until 17:00 on 25th October, 2022. An alternative route is available via Balloch Way and Louden Place; Ardlair Terrace, Aberdeen, from its junction with Craignook Road to the garage entrance for No1-6 Ardlair Terrace from 09:00 on 26th October, 2022, until 17:00 on 27th October, 2022. An alternative route is available via Balloch Way and Craignook Road; Louden Place, Aberdeen, from the boundary between number 8 and 10 Louden Place to the gable end of number 12 Louden Place from 09:00 on 31st October, 2022, until 17:00 on 1st November, 2022. An alternative route is available via Balloch Way and Ardlair Terrace.
Access to properties will be maintained, but no through traffic will be possible.
There will also be a prohibition of waiting on either side on the following streets between 08:00 and 17:00 Mon-Sat; Ardlair Terrace, Balloch Way, Berrywell Road, Corrennie Circle, Fergus Place, Fetach Walk, Liddell Place, Louden Place, McIntosh Crescent, Southesk Place, Victoria Street, Dyce, Aberdeen from 08:00 on 10th October, 2022, until 17:00 on 20th November, 2022.
Illegally parked vehicles will be removed at the owners expense.
The no-waiting restrictions will not be implemented for the full duration of the order and will only be implemented as and when required. The no-waiting restrictions will be demarcated by the use of no-waiting cones for no more than 100 metres at a time. Aberdeen City Council maintain the right to reduce this to 50m on any site should they see it as necessary to maintain public safety/access.

The measures are necessary to protect public safety during duct laying works being carried out by City Fibre.
