Aberdeen City Council has made the above-named order in terms of its powers under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
The effect of the order is to impose a temporary One-Way restriction on Rosemount Viaduct, Aberdeen, between its junctions with Skene Street and Gilcomston Park from 09:00 on 15th October, 2022, until 07:00 on 16th October, 2022. The permitted direction of travel will be south-eastbound only. Scheduled bus services shall be exempt. An alternative route for north-westbound vehicles is via Skene Street, Esslemont Avenue and Leadside Road
There will also be a prohibition of waiting on the same stretch of road
There will also be a prohibition of waiting on the south side of Gilcomston Park, Aberdeen from its junction with Rosemount Viaduct to the gable end of number 29 Gilcomston Park from 09:00 on 17th October, 2022, until 17:00 on 21st October, 2022.
Illegally parked vehicles will be removed at the owners expense.
The no-waiting restrictions will be demarcated by the use of no-waiting cones
The measures are necessary to protect public safety during duct laying works being carried out by City Fibre.
