Aberdeen City Council has made the above-named order in terms of its powers under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984
The effect of the order, which will operate from 04:00 on 23 September, 2022, until 17:00 on 11 October, 2022, is to impose a prohibition of driving on Loirston Road, from Cove Road to Coast Road, and a Prohibition of driving on Catto Crescent from Loirston Road to Loirston Avenue. There will also be a prohibition of waiting on either side of Loirston Road on the same stretch of carriageway, and prohibition of waiting on either side of Catto Crescent on the same stretch of carriageway. Local access will be maintained when safe to do so. The no-waiting restrictions will be demarcated by the use of no-waiting cones. Illegally parked vehicles will be removed at the owners expense. The restrictions are in the interests of public safety during ACC carriageway resurfacing works.
