Aberdeen City Council has made the above-named order in terms of its powers under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984

The effect of the order is to impose a temporary One-Way restriction on the following street;
King Street, Aberdeen, between its junctions with West North Street and Seaforth Road from 19:00 on 12th August, 2022, until 06:00 on 15th August, 2022 and also from 19:00 on 19th August, 2022, until 06:00 on 22nd August, 2022. The permitted direction of travel will be northbound only. An alternative route for southbound vehicles is available via Mounthooly Way, Mounthooly Roundabout and West North Street.
There will also be a prohibition of waiting on either side on the following streets between 08:00 and 17:00 Mon-Sat; Boddie Place, King Street, Mounthooly Way, Nelson Street, Seaforth Road, Urquhart Road, Aberdeen from 08:00 on 8th August, 2022, until 17:00 on 18th September, 2022.
Illegally parked vehicles will be removed at the owners expense.
The no-waiting restrictions will not be implemented for the full duration of the order and will only be implemented as and when required. The no-waiting restrictions will be demarcated by the use of no-waiting cones for no more than 100 metres at a time. Aberdeen City Council maintain the right to reduce this to 50m on any site should they see it as necessary to maintain public safety/access.
