THE ABERDEEN CITY COUNCIL (KINCORTH HEATING DUCT, ABERDEEN)

(TEMPORARY TRAFFIC MANAGEMENT) ORDER 2022

Aberdeen City Council has made the above-named order in terms of its powers under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.

The effect of the order, which will operate from 08:00 on 25 April 2022, until 17:00 on 01 October 2022, is to impose the restrictions listed below. Works will be carried out in phases, and advance warning signs will be on street at least one week before each phase commences.

Phase 1; Prohibition of driving on Sillerton Lane, Aberdeen, from the car park entrance at the side of Kincorth Shopping arcade to its junction with Cairngorm Gardens. There will be a prohibition of waiting on either side of the same stretch of road. An alternative route is available via Cairngorm Crescent, Provost Watt Drive, and Cairngorm Gardens.

Phase 2; Prohibition of driving on Cairngorm Gardens, Aberdeen, from its junction with Sillerton Lane to its junction with Provost Watt Drive. There will be a prohibition of waiting on either side of the same stretch of road. An alternative route is available via Cairngorm Crescent, Provost Watt Drive, and Cairngorm Gardens.

Phase 3; Prohibition of driving on Provost Watt Drive, Aberdeen, from its junction with Cairngorm Gardens to its junction with Cairngorm Drive. Scheduled bus services shall be exempt. There will be a prohibition of waiting on either side of the same stretch of road. An alternative route is available via Cairngorm Crescent, Provost Watt Drive, and Cairngorm Gardens. There will also be a prohibition of waiting on either side of Cairngorm Drive, Aberdeen, from the boundary between numbers 13-23 Cairngorm Drive to its junction with Tollohill Square, and on either side of Tollohill Square, Aberdeen, from its junction with Cairngorm Drive to its junction with Arbroath Way, and on either side of Arbroath Way, Aberdeen, from its junction with Provost Watt Drive to its junction with Cairngorm Lane.

Phase 4; Prohibition of driving on Cairngorm Drive, Aberdeen, from its junction with Provost Watt Drive to its junction with Caiesdykes Drive. There will be a prohibition of waiting on either side of the same stretch of road. An alternative route is available via Provost Watt Drive and Faulds Gate.

Phase 5; Prohibition of driving on Caiesdykes Drive, Aberdeen, from its junction with Cairngorm Drive to its junction with Mackay Road. There will be a prohibition of waiting on either side of the same stretch of road. An alternative route is available via Cairngorm Drive and Caiesdykes Road.

Phase 6; Prohibition of driving on Mackay Road, Aberdeen, from its junction with Caiesdykes Drive to its junction with Gardner Drive. There will be a prohibition of waiting on either side of the same stretch of road. An alternative route is available via Caiesdykes Drive, Cairngorm Drive and Gardner Drive.

Phase 7; Prohibition of driving on Gardner Drive, Aberdeen, from its junction with Mackay Road to its junction with Matthews Road. There will be a prohibition of waiting on either side of the same stretch of road. An alternative route is available via Cairngorm Drive, Caiesdykes Drive, and Caiesdykes Road.
