Aberdeen City Council has made the above-named order in terms of its powers under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984

Aberdeen City Council has made the above-named order in terms of its powers under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.

The effect of the order is to impose a temporary prohibition of driving on Dubford Crescent, Aberdeen, from its northern junction with Dubford Road to the gable end of number 81 Dubford Crescent from 09:00 on 17th February, 2022, until 17:00 on 18th February, 2022.

Access to properties will be maintained, but no through traffic will be possible

There will also be a prohibition of waiting on either side on the following streets between 08:00 and 17:00 Mon-Sat; Dubford Gardens, Dubford Grove, Dubford Rise, Dubford Road, Dubford Walk, Provost Mitchell Circle, Aberdeen from 08:00 on 15th February, 2022, until 17:00 on 28th March, 2022.

Illegally parked vehicles will be removed at the owners expense.

The no-waiting restrictions will not be implemented for the full duration of the order and will only be implemented as and when required. The no-waiting restrictions will be demarcated by the use of no-waiting cones for no more than 100 metres at a time. Aberdeen City Council maintain the right to reduce this to 50m on any site should they see it as necessary to maintain public safety/access.

The measures are necessary to protect public safety during duct laying works being carried out by City Fibre

Alternative Route: An alternative route is available via Dubford Road and its southern junction with Dubford Road.
