Aberdeen City Council has made the above-named order in terms of its powers under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
The effect of the order, which will operate from 07:00 on 7th February, 2022, until 18:00 on 18th February, 2022 is to impose a temporary prohibition of driving on Silverburn Crescent, Aberdeen, from its junction with Silverburn Place to a point 15 metres in an easterly direction.
There will also be a prohibition of waiting on the same stretch of road and also on either side of Silverburn Place, Aberdeen, between its junctions with Broadfold Road and The Parkway
Illegally parked vehicles will be removed at the owners expense. Access to properties will be maintained, but no through traffic will be possible.
The no-waiting restrictions will not be implemented for the full duration of the order and will only be implemented as and when required. The no-waiting restrictions will be demarcated by the use of no-waiting cones for no more than 100 metres at a time
The measures are necessary to protect public safety during duct laying works being carried out by City Fibre.
Alternative Route: An alternative route is available via Silverburn Place and Broadfold Road.
