Aberdeen City Council has made the above-named order in terms of its powers under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984
The effect of this Order is to impose a prohibition of waiting for any purpose on both sides of College Street, Aberdeen, between Marywell Street and Guild Street and on the east side of the southbound carriageway of Denburn Road, Aberdeen, from its junction with Patagonian Court, northwards for a distance of 80 metres or thereby from 04:00 on 8 January 2022 until 02:00 on 10 January 2022, and from 07:00 on 16 January 2022 until 02:00 on 17 January 2022, from 07:00 on 23 January 2022 until 02:00 on 24 January 2022, from 07:00 on 30 January 2022 until 02:00 on 31 January 2022, from 07:00 on 6 February 2022 until 02:00 on 7 February 2022 and finally from 07:00 on 13 February 2022 until 02:00 on 14 February 2022. Vehicles associated with the temporary bus link for Network Rail will be exempt. Illegally parked vehicles will be removed at the owners expense.
The restrictions are in the interests of public safety during repairs works by Network Rail on the Aberdeen to Dundee rail line.
